Communities:

Two Harbors:
As its name suggests, Two Harbors is a working port on Lake Superior. Its strategic position gives it a strong economic base in transportation and an emerging light manufacturing industry. As the largest town past Duluth on Minnesota’s scenic North Shore, it is also a major tourism hub. Two Harbors sits just 20 miles northeast of Duluth via a four-lane highway, offering easy connections to the world beyond Lake Superior’s shores.

Silver Bay:
The City of Silver Bay is in Lake County, Minnesota, on the scenic North Shore of Lake Superior approximately 56 miles northeast of Duluth, MN on US Highway 61. The community, which was originally built by Reserve Mining Company for the employees in its taconite processing plant, was incorporated in 1956 and has approximately 1,850 residents. Superior Hiking Trail and the state snowmobile and ATV trails from the city since these trails lie partially within the City limits.

Beaver Bay:
Beaver Bay is the first organized European community along the shore. In mid-1856 the sidewheel steamer Illinois dropped anchor at the mouth of the Beaver River with 25 passengers, including the Wieland brothers, German immigrants who opened a sawmill that year. Enjoy the eclectic mix of shops and restaurants, then stop by the cemetery and pay your respects to legendary North Shore mail carrier John Beargrease.

Lutsen | Tofte | Schroeder:
Strung along the Lake Superior shore like beads on a necklace, the communities of Lutsen, Tofte and Schroeder serve as the southern gateway to Cook County, Minnesota.
